Hello, I switched to a new line with the number 0530****64 on July 14, 2025, and everything worked perfectly—until I set up WhatsApp. After using the app for a short while, I suddenly received a notification that my WhatsApp account was closed. No explanation, no warning, and no clear reason was provided. I contacted WhatsApp Support multiple times, but all I got were vague, unhelpful responses that didn’t address the issue. I feel completely ignored and strung along.
The phone number is registered under my name. I have followed every possible path to recover access, but Turkcell's policy only allows one number change every two months, and in any case, the issue lies entirely with WhatsApp—not Turkcell. I suspect that the number may have had a previous owner, but that shouldn’t result in a current user being locked out without investigation.
This situation has caused serious inconvenience and damage, especially since this number is important for my personal and professional reputation. I request that WhatsApp promptly reviews and restores my account or provides a valid reason for the suspension. I should not be penalized for actions possibly taken by a prior user. Please resolve this urgently.
