Follow these steps to move your WhatsApp messages from your old Android phone to your new iPhone:
Prerequisites:
• You need Android OS Lollipop, SDK 21 or a newer version of SDK, or Android 5 or a newer version of Android on your phone or tablet.
• At least iOS 15.5 must be installed on your iPhone.
• Put the "Move to iOS" app on your Android phone or tablet.
• Make sure that the version of WhatsApp on your new iPhone is at least 2.22.10.70.
• Make sure that the version of WhatsApp on your old Android phone is at least 2.22.7.74.
• Both phones need to have the same phone number.
• For the "Move to iOS" app to work, you should have set up your iPhone from scratch or not used at all.
• Both items need to be plugged into a power source.
• Either both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network, or you should connect your Android phone to the hotspot on your iPhone.
How to Transfer:
• On your Android device, open the "Move to iOS" app and do what it says on the screen.
• On your iPhone, a code will show up. When asked, enter this code on your Android phone or tablet.
• Click "Continue" and do what it says on the screen.
• When you get to the "Transfer Data" screen, choose WhatsApp.
• Press and hold "Start" on your Android device while you wait for WhatsApp to get ready to export your data. When you're ready, your Android device will log you out of your account.
• Click "Next" to go back to the "Move to iOS" app.
• Just click "Continue" on the "Transfer Data" screen and wait for the "Move to iOS" app to let you know that the transfer is done.
• Get the most recent version of WhatsApp from the App Store.
• You can use the same phone number you used on your old device to sign in to WhatsApp.
• When prompted, press "Start" and wait for the process to finish.
• After the activation process is done, your chats will be moved to the new iPhone.
• In the "Move to iOS" app, you can't use the "Select WhatsApp Folder" feature while the transfer is going on.
