Delay in Refund from Western Union Contract Cancellation

We signed a contract with Western Union in the early months of 2023. I paid $1000 as collateral. They assured me that this amount would be refunded when our contract ended. Despite sending a contract cancellation request on 26.02.2024, the process they claimed would be completed within 40 days has not yet been finalized.
