Citroen Sold Me a C4X That Did Not Deploy Airbags During a Major Accident

I purchased a Citroen C4X from the Citroen Arkas Gaziemir dealership in İzmir on 01.07.2024. About three weeks after the purchase, the vehicle displayed two different warnings: “airbag or front seatbelt pretensioner fault” and “post-collision brake system fault.” I took the car to the authorized service center, where they inspected it and claimed there was no issue. However, during an accident I had on 11.03.2025, the airbag failed to deploy and the same “airbag or pretensioner fault” warning appeared again. The damage report for the accident was filed at ₺450,000. In my personal opinion, do not drive or let anyone drive a car that fails to deploy the airbag in such a severe accident. Despite filing a complaint with Citroen headquarters, they kept deflecting the issue and showed no concern. The authorized service center (ABC Ankara Authorized Service) promised that an insurance expert would be assigned within 48 hours after the crash, but no such action was taken. I had to personally follow up, making dozens of calls to finally get the expert assigned. I’ve never encountered a company as irresponsible as both the service center and Citroen’s main office. The initial warning, repeated fault after the accident, and crash images are attached. (Despite the vehicle sustaining damage down to the chassis, the airbag did not deploy.)
