I signed up for Vodafone's Red tariff a year and a half ago. They never mentioned that this tariff would be in effect for two years at the time. This year, as I approached a certain age and the packages appeared more appealing, I applied for FreeZone, only to discover that it required a 2-year commitment. I was like, "Okay, I'll pay the termination fee, just put me on FreeZone." Now that I'm a FreeZone member, I still use the Red tariff. Despite numerous calls to customer service, they continued to avoid the problem, even making false promises. I requested that my line be disconnected yesterday, and after months of not being able to reach them, customer service called me. They offered me a 46 TL contract to stay with Vodafone, which I accepted. When I checked the app later, however, I was still on Red. When I called again, they said they couldn't find any record of me switching tariffs but promised to put me in touch with the cancellation department. I waited for several minutes before the call was disconnected. Vodafone is a bad company that seeks unjust profits as a telecommunications company. I explained that I have internet at home, at work, and even in another apartment and that I haven't used more than 3-5 GB in months. Nonetheless, they are adamant about keeping me on this tariff. The termination fee is already 125 TL; how can this be justified? Then you ask, "Are you sure?" This is the amount of the cancellation fee." Why? Why did you switch me if you weren't going to provide FreeZone benefits, even though I was eligible due to my age? How can your system, which has been giving me fits for months, suddenly call me multiple times after I submit a termination request? Why did you make such a recommendation if you weren't going to offer me the tariff you suggested in order to keep me? Do your employees fail to communicate with one another? Is Vodafone oblivious to the laws? Or do you believe that people are ignorant of the laws? Please resolve my issue as soon as possible or I will cancel my line.
