Vivo Y28 Software Update Caused Apps to Stop Working

8

Approximately one and a half years ago, I purchased a Vivo Y28 smartphone from a Türk Telekom retail store. About two months ago, the phone received a major system update, which significantly changed the user interface. Since installing this update, I have been experiencing serious software-related problems that were not present before.

At the moment, I am experiencing persistent audio issues, particularly when using videos and applications. In addition, I can no longer access several essential apps, including e-Devlet, e-Nabız, MHRS, and various online payment applications. Whenever I attempt to open these apps, no error message appears. Instead, a blank screen is displayed indefinitely, and the applications never load. As a result, I am unable to complete important daily tasks, access healthcare and government services, or make online payments.

I have not yet contacted Vivo Customer Support, Türk Telekom, or an authorized service center regarding this issue. However, I believe I have been seriously inconvenienced by a software problem affecting a device that I purchased in good faith. I request that this issue be investigated as soon as possible and that an appropriate solution be provided. Ideally, the device should be repaired so that it functions normally again, or, if necessary, replaced with a properly working unit.

If this software-related problem is not resolved within a reasonable time, I will consider pursuing my rights through the appropriate consumer protection authorities. I respectfully request that the software issues affecting my device be investigated promptly and that my inconvenience be resolved without further delay.
