Vestel Charged Me for TV Repair but Never Replaced the Faulty Mainboard
When my 102-inch Vestel TV wouldn’t turn on, I took it to the service center. Since the warranty had expired, they said the repair would be charged. They identified the issue as a faulty mainboard and requested ₺2200 for the repair. I paid the fee and left the TV with them. When the TV was returned, they informed me that the mainboard had been replaced and added a one-year warranty. However, six months later, the same issue occurred. When I took it back to the service center, they initially requested another ₺2000. After I protested, they admitted the mainboard hadn’t been replaced but was only repaired because the factory couldn’t supply the part. I regret buying a Vestel TV. There’s no proper parts warranty, parts aren’t available, and both the brand and its service are deeply disappointing.
