Vestel Failed to Replace My NFK72022 No Frost Fridge Despite Ongoing Warranty


On March 22, 2023, I purchased the Vestel NF 520 refrigerator as a gift for my family. However, on March 29, 2023, it started making a loud noise. I immediately contacted customer service and reported the issue. When the technician arrived, he claimed to have fixed the problem and suggested I continue using the appliance until it actually breaks. About 10-15 days later, the appliance sporadically started making the same noise again, and I had to endure it for 4-5 months. Despite the service's instruction to use the appliance until it breaks, I reported the issue again when the noise increased. The service reassured me that the problem was resolved, but a day later, the appliance resumed making the same continuous and noticeably loud noises.
When I contacted the service again, I received an inappropriate response: "Your appliance has no defect; I won't come to check, I won't get paid for an hour anyway. If it makes noise, don't sit close." When I spoke with customer service representatives, they promised to contact the necessary parties to solve the problem and suggested sending a different service. However, the recommended service is located outside my region.
Overall, I feel like a victim, and I'm embarrassed because it was a gift. I am curious to see how this will end and await a resolution.
