Varta Batteries Ruined My Fisher Price Toys

I can't believe Varta batteries destroyed all four of my Fisher-Price toys, rendering them useless. I bought Varta pencil batteries for all of them last month, and the toys stopped working as soon as I put them in. I assumed it was a coincidence and purchased new batteries one by one to replace them. To my surprise, they had all leaked like cheap store-brand batteries, causing corrosion and damage to the internals of the toys. Now I'm faced with the decision of spending a fortune to replace these pricey toys. Why did I bother paying a premium for Varta batteries when they perform worse than generics? This is simply unacceptable for a Varta battery brand!
