Vans Shoes Started Coming Apart After Less Than Two Months

I purchased a pair of Vans shoes from the In Street store at Neomarin Mall toward the end of May. Less than two months after purchasing them, the sides of the shoes began to come apart.

Four days ago, I took the shoes back to the same store to have them inspected under warranty. The store took photos of the shoes and sent them for evaluation. I was later notified by text message that my claim had been rejected because the damage was considered “customer error.” I do not accept this decision, as I used the shoes under normal conditions and did not subject them to any impact or unusually harsh use.

I ask that the possibility of a manufacturing defect be taken into consideration, that the shoes undergo a new and more thorough inspection, and that I be allowed to return or exchange the defective product.
