VakıfBank Automatically Deducts My Salary Without Allowing Me to Restructure My Loan
I am a VakıfBank salary customer, and the state has identified my additional account and loan debt. I would like to restructure this debt with the 3.11 interest rate and a 60-month maturity period, as outlined in the official gazette. When I visited the branch to initiate the restructuring, I was informed that there must be a delay of 31 days or more for me to be eligible. However, when I contacted customer service, they said that no such delay is required to benefit from this restructuring option.
As a salary customer, my overdue debt is automatically deducted the moment my salary is deposited, without my consent. This process was never fully explained to me, and I feel like I have been put at a disadvantage because of it. Despite my overdue status, my debt is collected immediately, preventing the 31-day delay needed to restructure as the bank employee suggested. This situation has affected me negatively, and I’m struggling to manage my payments. I simply want to restructure my account and loan debt without having my entire salary deducted automatically, and I want to exercise my right to the 60-month payment plan.
