USPS says my tracking shows delivered but I never got it — how can I find my package?

If USPS tracking shows “Delivered” but you never received the package and want to find it;

Check delivery details first;

Check around your address;

• Look:
– Mailbox / parcel locker
– Porch / side door / garage
– With neighbors

Ask household & neighbors;

• Confirm no one accepted it
• Check if it was left at a nearby address by mistake

Contact your local Post Office;

• Call or visit the delivery branch (not just customer service)
• Provide:
– Tracking number
– Your address
• Ask for GPS delivery scan confirmation

Submit a Missing Mail request;

• Go to USPS → Help → Find Missing Mail
• File a search request with tracking number

Contact the sender;

• Ask them to initiate an insurance claim if insured
