The American Polo sweater I got for my husband is a huge letdown. The seams beneath the arm started to come apart after just two wears. By the third wear, the problem had already occurred. The shop from where we bought it consented to send the item for evaluation once we contacted them. But when you returned it, they said you couldn't get your money back or exchange it. The shop manager checked with the brand's representatives and confirmed (using the images I supplied) that the seams were defective, yet they still wouldn't accept the return or exchange. U.S. Polo, which sells more expensive goods, shows such a dismal lack of concern for its customers' happiness and assistance, which is puzzling given that even inexpensive brands allow easy returns without a receipt. Despite my plans to seek redress through the Consumer Arbitration Board, I am profoundly disappointed by the amount of energy and time I have already invested in this matter. If this story can act as a caution to anyone thinking about buying this brand, I would greatly appreciate it if it could spare them the disappointment I felt.
