Uption Blocked My Account After a Transaction and Withheld My Money
My Uption account was blocked on March 10, 2026, immediately after a specific transaction, and since that date I have not been able to access my money. The current balance of $1,984 in my account is completely inaccessible, and I cannot carry out any transactions.
I have contacted Uption customer support multiple times by email regarding this issue. The only response I have received is that my account is “under review” and that no action can be taken during this process. However, I have not been given any clear explanation as to why my account is under review, nor have I been provided with any information about how long this process will take.
My funds have been blocked for a long time, and this uncertainty is causing me serious concern. I request that my account be reviewed urgently and that the block on my account be removed as soon as possible. If it is not possible to reopen my account, I request that the $1,984 balance in my account be returned to me without further delay. I also request a clear and detailed explanation of the reason for this review, along with information about the expected timeline for the final resolution of my case.
My account was blocked on March 12, 2026, and I cannot access my balance of approximately ₺89,000. Customer service stated that my account is under “review,” but they did not provide clear information about the reason for the review or when it will be completed. The responses I have received are generic and repetitive, and they are not solution-oriented.

I was just about to use Uption to send an important transfer to Europe, but your review completely saved me. I ended up using my regular bank and paid a 3,500 TL commission fee instead. It is a high fee, but honestly, it is 100% worth it to avoid this kind of nightmare. Did you ever get any update or manage to get your money back? Please let us know. Knowing how things usually work here in Turkey, I highly doubt they will return it easily, but I really hope I am wrong and you get your funds back soon.
