UPS Turkey Mishandles Passport Delivery
The Turkish branch of UPS delivered my passport yesterday night. I promptly corrected my address in their system upon receiving the SMS message. Still, I got a call from the courier today informing me that they had delivered the passport at the previous address. After I described the problem, they claimed they were helpless and instructed me to contact corporate. They keep promising to resend it in nine days, even though I've called them several times. Despite providing the required paperwork to the email they supplied and even sending a second email, they still haven't responded, leaving me in a very tough situation. I stressed the seriousness of my issue and explained my travel plans. Because of this, my entire travel plans—including round-trip flights, lodging, appointments, etc.—are in shambles, yet they don't seem to care.
