UPS Marked My Package as "Attempted Delivery" Without Showing Up

I was expecting a package from UPS on 10.10.2024, and I received a message stating it would be delivered by 6 PM. I stayed home all day to ensure I wouldn’t miss it. Not only did the package never arrive, but at 6 PM, I received a message claiming they attempted delivery and that I wasn’t home—a complete lie. If they weren’t going to deliver it, why send a misleading message? Even if they couldn’t deliver due to high demand, why claim I wasn’t home? When I called customer service to ask about the false statement, they couldn’t provide any clear answers. I just hope my package arrives soon.
