The UPS package I was expecting was taken out for delivery without any notification being sent to me—no SMS, no email. Since I had no information, I was outside at the time. They apparently came to my door and called, but the delivery was marked as unsuccessful and I was told the package would be taken back to the branch.
Every other shipping company (except UPS) sends a “package out for delivery” notification. Why was this not sent by UPS?
Under normal circumstances, the package should have been delivered the next day, within the day.
I would like an explanation of UPS’s operating system regarding this issue and a proper response from UPS.
