UPS Courier Refuses to Deliver Package to My Home Address
For the past several months, I have been experiencing serious delivery issues with UPS. Even though I clearly list my home address as the delivery address, the courier refuses to bring the packages to my home. Instead, he insists on leaving them at an unfamiliar location and says that if I do not accept this, the shipment will be returned to the sender.
I experienced the same problem 3–4 months ago, and today I encountered the exact same issue with another package. The courier is arbitrarily attempting to redirect a shipment that is supposed to be delivered to my address, which causes both wasted time and inconvenience.
When I contacted UPS customer service regarding this matter, I was told that they could only open a complaint record. However, since this issue has occurred repeatedly, simply opening a complaint is not an adequate solution.
I expect my package to be delivered to the address listed in the system. If home delivery is not going to be provided, this should have been clearly stated from the beginning, and I would have chosen to work with a different shipping company. I request that this matter be investigated, that the necessary warning be given to the courier involved, and that all future shipments be delivered to the address I have provided.
