Umobix Charged Me ₺1,897 Without Consent After Promising a ₺37 One-Time Payment
I noticed a transaction labeled “umobix.com” on my credit card statement. When I researched it online, I found that the service is marketed as “Geofinder,” claiming to help track the location of children or loved ones for a one-time payment of ₺37. I accepted that charge expecting a simple location check, but instead ₺39 was withdrawn—and that was just the beginning.
Without my knowledge or permission, Umobix then enrolled me in a monthly subscription and, the next day, charged an additional ₺1,897 to my card. I received no warning, no notification, and no clear agreement to any subscription. Only after the second, much larger charge was processed did I receive an email—far too late.
I never agreed to this and feel completely deceived. I demand an immediate refund of the full ₺1,897 and the cancellation of any unauthorized subscription. Umobix must be held accountable for these misleading and unethical practices. This needs to be fixed now.
