Umingle Ban Appeal for Gender Searching Violation
My Umingle account on the website has been banned with the reason shown as “Gender Searching.” The only thing I did was ask the person I was chatting with whether they were a girl or a boy, and after that I suddenly received a ban notice. On the ban screen it says that I am banned for “Gender Searching” and it shows a Ban ID and an offer to remove the ban instantly if I pay 149 Philippine Pesos. I find it unfair and unclear that such a simple question led to a ban, and there was no proper explanation or warning given to me before this decision. I have not yet contacted Umingle support directly. With this complaint, I kindly request that my situation be reviewed carefully, that I am given a clear and detailed explanation of why I was banned for “Gender Searching,” and that the payment request to remove the ban is clarified and reconsidered if it is not appropriate or justified.
