On November 12, 2025, I purchased an Udemy course for $10. I watched no more than 3% of the course, yet when I attempted to request a refund, I received an error message stating:
“Due to your viewing history, this course cannot be refunded. You cannot request a refund because you have watched a large portion of the course.”
However, based on Udemy’s refund policy, I clearly should be eligible for a refund given the extremely short viewing time and the timing of my request.
I attempted the refund through the mobile app and then contacted customer service, but I have not received any response. I request a full refund for the course.
