Udemy Denied Refund Despite Only 13% Watched

I requested a refund for a course I purchased on Udemy. Even though I watched only 13% of the course, I received the following message:
“Due to your viewing history, this course is not eligible for a refund. According to our refund policy, you cannot request a refund because you have watched a large portion of the course.”
I submitted my refund request on November 16, 2025, using my computer, and I originally paid by credit card.
When I contacted customer support, they informed me that they could not assist me. My account and course were not part of any promotion or special campaign, and this was the first time I had ever requested a refund.
I don’t understand why my refund request was denied when I clearly did not watch a significant portion of the course. I am requesting a full refund for the course.
