I'm Requesting Ubisoft Fix a Widely Reported Crashing Bug
I purchased Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora through Epic Games for about $37, but since the game runs through Ubisoft, it's operated on Ubisoft's infrastructure. I've been trying to play the game since yesterday, but I keep experiencing constant crashes, and honestly, it's driving me crazy.
During gameplay, without any warning, it suddenly kicks me out to the desktop and then returns to the Ubisoft launcher screen. I can't even get back to the in-game main menu. I've uninstalled the game, reinstalled it, verified the files, and confirmed the files are intact, but the problem hasn't been resolved in any way. Despite this, the game keeps crashing to the desktop in exactly the same way every time.
I don't believe this is a problem with my system, because I don't experience any crashes or performance issues with other games I play on the same setup. Additionally, when I researched this online, I saw that many other people playing the same game are also complaining about similar Ubisoft-related crashing issues.
I can't properly play a game I paid for because of these bugs — even before launching it, I start off tense, wondering "will it crash again this time," and enjoying it has become impossible. I am requesting that Ubisoft identify and fix this crashing issue as soon as possible, make the necessary updates, and provide a permanent solution so I can play the game without issues.
