About 70 days ago, my Ubisoft account was hacked, and since then, I’ve been trying to recover it through countless support tickets. The account’s original username was K*, but it has now been changed by the hackers to “Hosted.G2.” Even though I’ve provided Ubisoft Support with proof of ownership — including the original email, payment receipts, activation key screenshots, ID documents, in-game photos, YouTube gameplay videos, and screenshots of my skins — they keep saying that they’ve sent a verification email to the updated address and cannot proceed without confirmation. That verification, however, is going directly to the hackers, leaving me completely locked out and powerless.
I’ve reached out to Ubisoft Support multiple times, but I only ever receive automated responses. There is no way to speak with a live agent, and none of my tickets have led to a real resolution. I even contacted Ubisoft via Twitter, but again, I didn’t receive any helpful response. My account represents over 10 years of gaming history and $2,000–$3,000 worth of purchases. I also had an active membership subscription, which is no longer accessible.
I’m requesting that Ubisoft immediately restore my account, verify ownership using the documentation I’ve already provided, and return control to me as the rightful owner. I also expect a formal explanation and improved support process to prevent this kind of situation from happening again.
