I Was Charged by Uber in Vienna for a Ride I Never Took

A payment is being requested from my Uber account for a service I never received. During my trip to Vienna, I wanted to calculate the distance between my hotel and the airport using Uber. The page opened automatically through my Google account. Since the interface was in German, I couldn’t understand anything and closed the page. I asked the hotel to call a taxi instead. While we were on the way and about to arrive at the airport (had I actually ordered an Uber, it would’ve arrived this late), a phone call came in. Since we didn’t speak the language, the taxi driver answered it — it turned out to be an Uber driver, which really surprised us. Apparently, I became an Uber member simply by logging in with my Google account, and now I’m being charged for a service I never used. I request that this mistake be corrected and that my Uber account be permanently deleted. I also urge the company to revise its operating policy. Making money without providing a service shouldn’t be this easy. Please resolve this issue.
