To accumulate points, I got a Miles&Smiles credit card in my mother's name and purchased a ticket for myself using a virtual card linked to it. During baggage check-in, I was told that the credit card used to purchase the ticket must be presented by the cardholder. The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, directing me to ticket sales because the system is only set up for selling tickets. I explained the situation there, stating that we have the same last name and that I bought the ticket. However, they ignored me with excuses like 'Take a number, the authorized person is not here.' We had to bring my elderly mother all the way from home to show the card used for the purchase. I also noticed that my reserved window seat was changed to an aisle seat. It's frustrating to see such unprofessional and unhelpful staff at THY. I wish I had flown with another airline!
