Turkcell Offered Existing Customer Higher Price Than New Subscriber Package

On 29.12.2025 at 09:01 in the morning, I was called by a Turkcell number starting with 532. I could not answer at that moment because I was not available. Later during the day, at 14:03, the same number called again and this time I answered. I was told that my contract needed to be renewed and I was offered a package which was said to be suitable for me, together with its price information. After the call, before renewing my contract, I wanted to check the available packages myself via the Turkcell mobile application. I saw that the company, with which I have been a subscriber and from which I have been receiving service since the early 2000s, was offering exactly the same package to new subscribers for less than half the price that was offered to me. In the attachment, there are screenshots of both the package offered to me and the packages offered to new subscribers. Because of this situation, I called 532 and spoke with Mr. A*** at 14:29. During this call, I learned that there were actually about 8 more months left until the end of my current contract. If I had trusted Turkcell as I always do and renewed my contract without checking the details, I would have continued for 8 months on a more expensive tariff that was offered to me, instead of using my current rights. Due to this experience, I feel that a company I have been working with for many years has tried to mislead me, and I worry that I may have been misled many times before without realizing it. I think Turkcell should immediately abandon this attitude towards its existing and long-term subscribers. My purpose is to make this approach known to everyone and to ensure that other users, who trust this company as I have done for many years, are more careful about the offers presented to them so that they do not fall into a similar misconception.
