Turkcell Doubled My Tariff Price from ₺260 to ₺540 Without Offering Alternatives
My Turkcell tariff commitment is about to end. While the package I was using was ₺260, the same package is now ₺540. They are asking for more than double the price. I understand that costs have increased, and of course, there should be some rise, but an increase of more than double doesn't seem reasonable to me. In previous years, in such cases, a knowledgeable Turkcell customer service representative would call and offer different solutions, and we’d find a compromise. Now, it's not like that – they basically say "Take it or leave it." Don’t forget, if we exist, you exist. I'm switching to a different operator now.
You are doubling the prices to satisfy your customers. To satisfy them, your network doesn’t work everywhere. We pay 500 lira, and somehow our internet package runs out in 15 days. Previously, we couldn't use up 5 GB of internet in a month, but now 70 GB of internet runs out in 15-20 days. You are both targeting people's pockets with exorbitant prices and leaving people in a difficult situation. I hope people leave Turkcell as soon as possible and you reach the point of bankruptcy.
