Trivago Assigned Smoking Room Despite My Non-Smoking Request
I booked a room at Pozcu Hotel in Mersin through Trivago, specifically requesting a non-smoking room. Upon arrival, the hotel informed me that all rooms allow smoking, which is unacceptable. Additionally, the listing claimed there was on-site parking and a welcoming reception service, neither of which was true.
When I entered the room, it reeked of cigarette smoke, making it impossible to stay. Despite explaining the situation and requesting a refund, the hotel refused to cooperate. The breakfast was advertised as an open buffet, yet I was offered only a simple plate instead.
I am highly disappointed and feel misled by both Trivago and the hotel. I demand a prompt resolution and a full refund for this unpleasant experience.
