We booked a room at Trabzon Uzungöl Özkan Hotel through Trivago, trusting their guarantee, and paid the full amount in advance. However, upon arrival, we were shocked to find that the room had no windows at all—no airflow and no natural light. This is not acceptable for a hotel stay and certainly not what was advertised.
I immediately requested either a refund or to be shown a different room, but the hotel refused both options. As a result, we decided not to stay at the property and checked out without using the room.
I then contacted Trivago by email, expecting them to resolve the issue, but they did not respond or provide any support.
👉 I demand that Trivago refund my payment in full and take responsibility for misleading customers with inaccurate listings. A room without windows should never be presented as a standard hotel accommodation, and leaving customers without help when they complain damages trust in the Trivago platform.
