I Paid for a Trivago Booking but the Hotel Won’t Answer and I Can’t Get a Refund
I made a reservation through Trivago with the receipt number 75-3616205 and completed the full payment. However, when I tried contacting the hotel directly, no one picked up the phone—not once. I also sent multiple emails regarding my stay and the issues I was experiencing, but I have received no response whatsoever.
Due to this complete lack of communication and support, I am requesting an immediate cancellation and full refund. I never used the reservation because I couldn't even confirm the booking with the hotel. It is extremely stressful to be left in the dark after paying a significant amount of money.
It’s unacceptable that Trivago allows listings from properties that are unreachable and then leaves customers helpless when problems arise. There should be accountability when service is not delivered.
