Trendyol Charges Me Monthly for Plus Membership Without Consent
On June 7, 2025, I made a purchase on Trendyol for household items and came across a campaign related to Trendyol Plus membership. During the signup, I saw an information screen stating that I would only be exempt from the shipping fee and would not pay the ₺45 shipping cost on a ₺75 purchase. However, I did not see any information or confirmation screen indicating that ₺75 would be charged automatically every month. After becoming a member, I later discovered—by coincidence while making another transaction—that my credit card had been automatically charged a total of ₺150 on June 7, July 13, and August 13, 2025. I contacted Trendyol customer service, and they stated that the membership could be canceled but the fees charged so far would not be refunded. Since I was not clearly informed about the monthly automatic charge and the fees were taken without my consent, I request a refund of the total ₺150 collected so far.
