Toyota Sold Me an Avensis With a Dashboard That Cracked on Its Own Over Time
About 10 years ago, I bought a Toyota Avensis, and over time, I noticed cracks showing up on the dashboard in a few spots all by themselves. It’s pretty surprising that the car hasn’t been used much and has mostly just sat in the garage. It surprised me to see so much damage on a car that's hardly been used. I really thought that a well-known brand like Toyota would own up to a defect like this. Even though I sent in a bunch of requests myself, and I know a lot of friends who did too, we still haven't gotten any answers. Toyota not speaking up or helping out with this issue has really made me lose faith in the brand. I really thought a company like this would focus more on finding solutions.
