Toyota Gebze Quoted Me ₺120000 for a Repair That Costs ₺30000 Elsewhere
In December 2023, I had an accident with my Toyota, which I had purchased that same month. I scraped the car against a wall, causing a dent on the rear side fender. I was told that the entire repair, including the paint job, would cost between ₺15,000 - ₺30,000 at an outside shop. However, I decided to have it done at the dealership, thinking I’d pay at most ₺10,000 more. I went to Toyota Gebze Aykon dealership, where they supposedly conducted an inspection, and then quoted me around ₺120,000. If they do this for even the smallest issue, I’m at a loss for words. Friends, it’s up to you, but my personal advice is to avoid dealerships for repairs and accidents. Even when I had the 10,000 km maintenance done, what could be done for ₺2,000 elsewhere was charged ₺7,000-8,000 at the dealership, with no extra service provided. Toyota is a regret, period.
