The North Face Refused Return—No Policy Disclosure at Purchase

I purchased a pair of The North Face boots as a Valentine’s Day gift for my partner. However, we didn’t like the model and wanted to return them, only to be denied a refund—despite the fact that only two days had passed since the purchase.
The store staff refused to accept the return, claiming that no items can be returned, even though they never disclosed this policy during the sale. Meanwhile, the exact same boots are available online for ₺2,000 less, with a hassle-free return option. I specifically chose the official store expecting better service, yet this treatment is completely unfair.
The North Face, you need to clearly communicate your return policy to customers before they make a purchase! I expect a resolution—has anyone else experienced this? I will not be shopping here again if this is how customers are treated!
