Telegram Will Not Let Me Log In Without My Old SIM Card
I can no longer access my Telegram account on my Android phone. My account is linked to an old phone number registered in the Philippines, and I have completely lost access to this number, so I am unable to receive the login codes that are sent via SMS or call. Although I have a backup email address registered with my Telegram account and I also have two-step verification activated, the system does not allow me to log in using this email. I still remember my two-step verification password correctly, but I cannot get past the login stage because the verification code is only sent to the old phone number that I can no longer use. I contacted Telegram support regarding this problem, but I have not received any response so far, and I have been unable to use my account since around September last year. I expect that Telegram support allows me to use my registered email address as a secure method to receive the login code and verify my identity, and to update my contact information so that I can access my account again without needing the old phone number. These are my account details:
