I have been using my Telegram account on an Android phone for about two years from Punjab, India, and it has suddenly been compromised in a very alarming way. Recently, I was logged out of my account without any warning. When I tried to log back in with my phone number, I saw that someone else’s email address had been added to my account, even though I have never authorized or added any such email. This clearly indicates that my account has been accessed and modified without my consent, and I am extremely worried about what the unauthorized person might be doing with my account and personal data. I have not shared my login information with anyone. I have also not yet received any support, as I have not been able to resolve this issue through the app. I request that Telegram urgently investigate this security breach on my account, remove any unauthorized email addresses or access, and restore full, safe control of my account to me. If any unauthorized actions are carried out through my account, I want it to be on record that this is the result of a failure in Telegram’s security. I trusted Telegram with my personal communication and now feel completely exposed, so I expect this issue to be taken very seriously and resolved as soon as possible.
