I have been unable to access my Telegram account for about two months. When I try to log in, the system says that a login code has been sent to an email address, but that email does not belong to me and I do not have access to it. This makes me believe that someone changed the email on my account and added their own address without my authorization.
I also attempted to log in using my personal phone number, but the system prompts me to provide a “premium gift” first, which I do not have and have never used. My account has always been completely free, and I am very concerned that I cannot regain access to my own phone number without completing this step, especially when there appears to have already been an unauthorized change to my account information.
I am requesting that my Telegram account be restored to my control through my personal phone number and that any unknown or unauthorized email address linked to my account be removed. I also ask that a proper security verification be conducted to confirm that I am the rightful owner and that this issue be resolved so I can safely access and use my account again.
