We have a Teka hood that came with a built-in charcoal filter. When the service activated it, they installed the filter and I had to pay extra for it. But when we switched it on, it didn't get rid of smells and steam like it said it would. The house still smells like food. When we called the service center, they told us that the pipe is too long. When they put in the hood, they didn't tell us it was too long and also claimed they put in a charcoal filter. The duct is 1.5 meters long. Why doesn't the charcoal filter work if it's 1.5 meters long?
