Poorly Working Tefal Airfryer

I got the Tefal Airfryer, brought it home, and tried making fries, but after 40 minutes, the potatoes were still uncooked. When I switched off the product, I realized that the surface it was resting on had become extremely hot. It made my kitchen countertop change color, caused the silicone on my cabinets to swell, and I couldn't even touch the area where I put the product without getting burned. When I opened the fryer's lid, a really bad smell filled the kitchen, and I couldn't even figure out where it was coming from. So, on the fifth day, I decided to return the product. I brought it to Media Markt, and they sent it to Tefal's service center. They said everything was normal, but I think that's totally false. I've decided to go to court about this issue and I've taken pictures of the damages in my kitchen. In court, I'm going to ask for money to make up for these losses because the promise they made about being able to return the item within 15 days no matter what is completely untrue.

Tefal customer service resolved my issue very quickly. If I buy a product again, I will purchase it directly from their own store without any intermediary. I thank the brand for standing behind their product. I also thank the representative who called for their politeness and for resolving the issue.
