Tefal Easy Fry XL Leaks and Unresponsive Customer Service!

We bought a Tefal Easy Fry XL from Teknosa. After only 20 days of using it, the cooking area started to leak water. I brought the product to the service center, but they quickly gave it back without looking into it. They said, ""Sorry, but this device isn't meant to be used with water."" I told them that I used water to clean, not to cook, and that it didn't leak when I first got it. Even though I showed Tefal that the water was leaking from the silicone part, they haven't responded for two months and are refusing to admit there's a problem.

Also, the same place could potentially have a cooking oil leak. The lady who works at Teknosa and sold me the product made it clear to the service supervisor that she personally didn't experience any leaks. I'm really frustrated with how Tefal has been handling this situation. So, are you thinking about getting a Tefal product? I will never do that again.

It was kept in service for 1 week and sent back to Akbatı Teknosa exactly as it was, and my machine has been there for about 1 month. The concerned friend Mr. Birkan has emailed Tefal multiple times but has not received any results, causing extreme distress. Of course, the fact that the machine has become cheaper in the meantime is also particularly frustrating. Two items were written for the service, stating that the substance next to the screw was not rust but oil, and no tests were conducted regarding the water leakage.
