Last year I purchased a Tata Nexon EV, and although I enjoy the driving experience, the infotainment system is a catastrophe. The screen stops at random, reboots on its own, and occasionally shows resistance to Bluetooth connection. Long travels depend on navigation, and there have been several occasions when the screen went totally dark while I was on the highway. I called customer assistance, but all they advised was software updates devoid of fix for the issue. The infotainment for a modern EV should be flawless—not a flimsy jumble that drives me to use my phone for navigation. Tata has to really focus on permanently fixing these bugs rather than running half-baked software updates!
