I Can’t Use My Troy Card on Steam and Won’t Buy Until It’s Accepted
I’m a Steam user in Turkey, and I find it extremely frustrating that Troy cards are still not accepted as a valid payment method. I understand that some games and services may be pricey, and I’m willing to pay—but only if I can use my preferred method of payment. Troy is a national payment system in Turkey, and many Turkish customers rely on it. Refusing to support this card excludes a large portion of your user base and feels like a lack of respect for local users.
Steam needs to offer more inclusive payment options, especially for countries with unique systems like ours. Not accepting Troy in 2025, when so many other platforms in Turkey already do, is simply unacceptable. Until Troy is supported, I’ve decided not to purchase any more games on Steam.
Please address this issue and update your platform to include Troy cards. Turkish users deserve the same access and respect as everyone else.
