My Steam Wallet Funds Got Stolen
I've been using my Steam wallet for a solid 10 years now, and let me tell you, I recently had an unfortunate encounter with a user named gpruxm9313 who managed to swipe ₺2.12 from it. Can you believe that? I reached out to Steam support and received a rather unhelpful response: "We are unable to assist you, so you'll have to handle the situation on your own." It's frustrating how the Steam representatives are completely ignoring my complaint. What's the deal with taking ₺2 today and then ₺200 tomorrow? Any predictions on what might go down? Steam has completely lost my trust and confidence.
Steam management is useless, repeating like a robot that they cannot intervene in the community market. In this situation, thieves... take advantage of this security vulnerability without missing the opportunity. They gain access to the money in the account wallet and set exorbitant prices for the products in their own accounts, buying items at the price they want. They price a $1 item at $10 and empty the wallet. I told the authorities about this situation, but they said we can't do anything, accept your fate, meaning the money in your wallet is not safe and they don't take responsibility. Whether it's $1 or $10,000, nothing changes. They don't even bother to think and do something because they are a monopoly in the industry. I hope this monopoly will eventually be broken one day...
They don't even bother to find the person who carried out this incident, even though I found the person, gave their name, showed the actions they took, and sent screenshots. Despite all this, they don't lift a finger, they're so indifferent. In fact, the features, identity, IP number, and location of the device used to log in can be easily found as long as the authorities take responsibility, but instead, they just send copy-paste messages like robots. My account, which I've had for about ten years, is now worthless, and they should be proud of this.
