On my card there is a Stayforlong charge marked as ‘pending.’ How can I confirm whether it was duplicated?

If a “pending” charge from Stayforlong appears on your card and you are not sure whether it is duplicated, you can confirm it by following these steps:

• Check your card statement or banking app and locate all charges related to Stayforlong
• See if one appears as “pending,” “authorized,” or “on hold”
• Verify whether another charge for the same amount has already been confirmed
• Save screenshots showing the date, amount, and status of both charges

Then review your reservation:

• Open the Stayforlong confirmation email
• Check whether there is only one reservation number and one recorded payment
• Verify whether the system shows a single charge associated with the booking

Contact Stayforlong support:

• Provide the reservation number, payment date, and payment method
• Attach screenshots of the pending charge and the confirmed charge (if there is one)

Ask them to:

• Confirm whether the pending charge is only a bank authorization
• Verify if there is a duplicate charge in their system
• Release the hold if the payment has already been processed
• Assign you a case number for follow-up

If the charge continues to appear, please feel free to share your experience. You can also file a complaint on our website.
