Stanley Thermos Fails Ice Retention Test: Ice Melts Long Before 40 Hours
My 0.7-liter Stanley thermos is advertised as keeping water cold for 12 hours and ice frozen for 40 hours. However, the product absolutely does not deliver this level of performance. Especially during the summer starting in July 2025, when I used it in hot weather, I noticed that the ice inside melted very quickly and the water lost its cold temperature much faster than expected. I chose this product specifically because I trusted those claims, but I am not getting the insulation performance that was promised.
If I remember correctly, I purchased the product through Amazon. After experiencing the issue, I contacted Kutup Ayısı, the distributor, and sent the thermos to them for inspection. However, after an extremely short review period of about two days, I was told that there was no manufacturing defect, and the product was returned to me in the same condition. When I continued using the thermos the same way, I saw again that the ice melted and the cold temperature disappeared in a short amount of time.
I believe there is a serious discrepancy between the advertised performance and the product’s real-world use. For this reason, I am requesting that my complaint be carefully re-evaluated and that my issue be resolved appropriately, with a solution that ensures the product performs as promised.
