I Face Solgar Alpha Lipoic Acid Side Effects With Headaches And Strong Urine Odor

I purchased Solgar Alpha Lipoic Acid 600 mg, 50 capsules, from a pharmacy in Osmangazi, Bursa, and started taking one capsule per day beginning on June 23, 2026. From the very first day of use, I noticed a strong and unpleasant odor in my urine approximately 2–3 hours after taking the supplement. On the same day, I also began experiencing headaches, especially around 6–7 hours after taking it.

Because of these symptoms, I decided to stop using the product as of today. Since this is an expensive supplement, almost the entire bottle is still unused, and I do not feel comfortable continuing to take it.

Due to this negative experience, I request a refund from Solgar for the product I purchased. I also expect the company to investigate the product in terms of its ingredients, quality, and possible side effects and provide me with clear information regarding what may have caused these symptoms.
