Solgar Omega 3 950 mg Smelled Bad and Made a Hissing Sound—I Suspect It’s Spoiled

I recently purchased Solgar Omega 3 950 mg and was shocked by what I experienced upon opening it. Unlike the previous bottle I used without any issues, this one made a hissing sound—like a carbonated drink—when I opened the cap. It also had a very unpleasant, rancid smell, which made me question the product’s safety, so I didn’t take any of the capsules.
This has never happened with past Solgar purchases, which makes me believe this batch may be defective or spoiled. The smell and the release of pressure are extremely concerning and raise doubts about the product’s freshness and quality.
I’ve seen similar complaints from other users, and I urge Solgar to investigate this issue immediately. I’m requesting a replacement or a full refund. Consumers trust this brand for quality supplements, and this kind of experience severely damages that trust.
