I am trying to permanently delete my Snapchat account from my Redmi 13C Android device, but for the past three days, I’ve been stuck in a frustrating loop. Every time I go through the in-app steps to delete my account, I complete the process correctly, only to be told to “wait 72 hours.” No matter how many times I try, the account never actually gets deleted.
This feels completely unfair. When creating the account, no extra device verification or additional requirements were asked of me, yet during deletion, I am suddenly forced into waiting periods and unnecessary checks. As a user, this makes me feel trapped and misled.
My account has no payments, subscriptions, or premium content, and I simply want it removed without delay. My registered email is g********@gmail.com**, and my username is linked to that address. I have not yet reached out to customer service, but I did some research online and found that many other users are facing the exact same issue.
I am requesting that Snapchat immediately delete my account without further waiting and ensure that users have a straightforward way to permanently remove their data. A 72-hour loop that never ends is unacceptable.
