I have been trying to delete my Snapchat account on my iPhone 13 for about two weeks, but I keep encountering the same issue. Even though I follow all the account deletion steps correctly, I always receive the message:
“Security issue, please try again after 72 hours.”
I’ve tried three or four times, and the result never changes — my account still can’t be deleted.
I made all attempts under the same conditions, without changing my internet connection or device. My account has no payments, subscriptions, or private content, and my username is “wab****.”
I haven’t contacted Snapchat support, but I’ve seen that others facing the same issue haven’t been able to get a solution from customer service either.
I request that my account be permanently deleted immediately and that Snapchat provide a permanent fix for this recurring issue affecting users.
